MyQ garage integration via ring-mqtt possible?

I just setup ring-mqtt for some ring devices and noticed that ring has an integration with MyQ garage door openers. If I set this up in Ring, does it allow HA to integrated with my MyQ garage doors?

I read online that the integration just shows open/close states, but if I could just get those events then I can do at least some of what I want which is to trigger lights to turn on if the garage door opens.

Yeah I was thinking about it but I need 2 and was trying to find a cheaper way to do it.

Tried it - doesn’t pick it up. Ended up getting a Konnected Blaq - was the simplest install ever and doesn’t need a door sensor or anything else. Highly recommend and worth the $80.
