Mysa Thermostat Problem - Fujitsu Horizontal Swing Setting

Thanks to you guys I found out about the Mysa Thermostats. I got 3 of them for my mini splits, so I can have all local control over the 2 with no networking at all, and over my Fujitsu unit which has WiFi, but is all internet based with no way to get into HomeAssistant (That I know of!)

For the 2 Daikin models, it works great. But, for the Fujitsu mini split I am running into a problem that makes the thermostat useless and I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas?

The mini split has Vertical and Horizontal swing, and the Mysa only support vertical swing. This is fine, because we never adjust the swing, so even if it can’t be controlled by the app, just having it set on what it was set to last is fine

The problem is that it sets the horizontal swing to setting 4, and air blows off to the side. Even if we set it back, every temp or fan change sets it back to setting 4. Meaning, if we want to use the Mysa Thermostat, we have to deal with air blowing where we don’t want it

I’ve contacted support so I will report back if they have a fix. But I’ve tried resyncing the swing, turning off that function in Mysa and re-matching the remote without swing (Doesn’t work) and can’t come up with a fix

Did you ever find a solution? My Fujitsu is in the corner of the room so the horizontal swing is important. I fix it with my Fujitsu remote but as soon as I change the temp with MYSA the swing goes back to full swing which blows air into a wall.

Nope, they told me they were adding it in a future version, but they did not give me a version number or timeline

Based on how little additional controls have been added in the past few years, I doubt it will get added. Heck, these even lack “Powerful” which is a pretty common feature on mini splits
