Mysensors - Gateway not sending an Imperial responding

since some of the last changes to Home Assistant, I’ve be unable to have my Mysensors using a serial gateway & DHT22 on the Slaves to send Fahrenheit temperature instead of Celsius…
Here’s a partial message from debug on the device…

2214 TSF:MSG:SEND,7-7-0-0,s=255,c=0,t=17,pt=0,l=5,sg=0,ft=0,st=OK:2.3.2
2224 TSF:MSG:SEND,7-7-0-0,s=255,c=3,t=6,pt=1,l=1,sg=0,ft=0,st=OK:0
2364 TSF:MSG:READ,0-0-7,s=255,c=3,t=6,pt=0,l=1,sg=0:M
2371 TSF:MSG:SEND,7-7-0-0,s=255,c=3,t=11,pt=0,l=22,sg=0,ft=0,st=OK:TemperatureAndHumidity
2381 TSF:MSG:SEND,7-7-0-0,s=255,c=3,t=12,pt=0,l=3,sg=0,ft=0,st=OK:1.1

I rechecked that Home Assistant was set to Imperial, which it is…
so I don’t know what’s causing the gateway to respond with ‘M’ , see below…
2364 TSF:MSG:READ,0-0-7,s=255,c=3,t=6,pt=0,l=1,sg=0:M
according to the “Internal command”, I should be seeing an “I”.
