Mystery Hardkernel Integration Appeared (Odroid N2+ Home Assistant Blue)

I was just looking through my Devices & Services and noticed a mystery Hardkernel Integration has appeared.

I do have a Odroid N2+ Home Assistant Blue

Says it has One Entry

No devices or entities

When Clicking Documentation - nothing exists

And to make it even stranger, the documentation page it linkes to does not exist…

Nope, certainly does not

Me too. Just noticed it today. I’m running the Odroid N2+ Home Assistant Blue as well.

Same for Pi. On github the comment was the integration always existed, but now they made it visible.

+1 Same here (Odroid N2+), so what does it add? There is nothing to configure or entities to monitor, so is it just an ode to the hardware maker?

You would have to look in the source code, but my guess it loads or activates some specific Odroid kernel modules.

Same here as well. Just noticed it. Certainly not going to mess with it but I would like to understand why it is there.

same here. It just appeared. Been working in HA on some automations and editing some files for a few days. It just appeared a few moments ago. Running the Odroid N2.

It adds to the confusion, especially since it suggests that you can do something with it. Maybe it’s a matter of getting used to it, like the interim core update in which core integrations are updated that you 9 times out of 10 don’t use. I find it ineffective and inefficient although it does bring more joy when you just did a new home assistant installation (though a reference to downloadable integrations would make more sense to me to keep control over it). Things like the HardKernel core related object should again disappear more into the background for the user.
