Nabu Casa on Chrome OS

Will the Nabu Casa app run on a Chrome OS tablet?
I’m thinking of using the tablet as a display at home.
Haven’t purchased the tablet yet.
Thanks for any insight you can offer.

The Home Assistant Android app runs well on my Pixelbook with one exception, it doesn’t seem to report the WiFi connection properly. I haven’t been bothered to work out if this just my configuration or due to the sandboxed implementation of Android on Chrome OS.
If you’re only wanting it as a display, why not get a cheaper tablet and use a browser in kiosk mode?

Lenovo has a new Chromebook coming out. It’s priced at 249. Will a browser on Kiosk mode be consistently on or will there be times when you need to refresh the page? Link to Lenovo https://www.aboutchromebooks.com/news/lenovo-ideapad-duet-chromebook-release-date-may-6-2020-specifications/

I’ve not tried tbh but you can certainly set a chromebook not to turn the screen off. It might be worth doing a bit more research to confirm it will do what you want before making the purchase.
