I’ve got HA up and running on a raspberry pi 4 via a microSD
Prior to using HA I had Wyze cams and sensors. I do like them because of the small profile but their range is a bit limited in my experience. I’ve got a long narrow how and a detached garage that is a fully metal structure. The sensors I have on the garage door only communicate because I’ve got a router bridging my LAN into the garage via powerline - works really well and can even get HD Wyze cam streams on it
Problem is automation
I’d like to create an automation whereby opening the garage at a certain time of day and with a geolocation triggers a coming home scene in the house
I’ve got Nabu Casa linked to my google assistant. So now google can read the state of my garage sensor (through Wyze) and the back door sensor (Wyze bridge into the raspberry Pi)
Is there a way to get them to talk to each other?
Come home - garage opens (Wyze) - HA turns on garden lights - HA turns on patio light - HA informs me of things when I open the back door (Wyze plugged into Pi4)
