Native support for checklists in Home Assistant

It would be amazing to be able to create checklists intended for recurrent use as well as the to-do lists that we already have.

For example: chore lists are typically recurrent in nature, as might be checklists before leaving the house (a perfect use-case for NFC tags).

The key missing feature to make this possible is a service that resets the state of an entire to-do list rather than individual items in it.

This IS available in the shopping list to-do list (which makes sense). But for other to-do lists scripting is required. If it were a standard setting that any entity in the ‘to do’ list class could call it would open up a lot of great possibilities.

A simple “to-do list reset all” service would enable users to implement checklists with ease, for example by adding a little button at the button of the list to press when complete (and it could be automated to trigger after all items have been checked).
