I have a need to present a different UI depending on a button push. My options I thought of include the below, anyone be able to advise how to do this. For instance if I’ve tapped a button to indicate I’m in going to bed I’d like to present a UI with options I might want whilst in bed i.e. calling automations I might want whilst in bed or waking up.
I don’t know how to create a custom state though if this would be an option to use, I can’t really use any presence detection so it will have to be a manual trigger of some sort unfortunately as a state of for instance all my audio video off might indicate I’m working from home, in bed, asleep or not at home.
Options I’ve thought of in order of best to less than ideal:
- Conditional card based on state
- Different Views based on state (cons: extra admin and complexity)
Can anyone help me out please
