Need Advice: 400m + 433mhz RF transmission

To keep the story short: I live in a gated community that was neglected by its owner. After being here for a year, the owner got tired of people complaining about security and decided to re-enable all the gates. There are 4 gates (2 in and 2 out).
The problem is that the owner is charging $50 per remote which only controls 2 of the 4 gates (I checked remotes, available for $6 on AliE).
I have a car, bike, scooter. My wife has her bike and scooter.
So for us, for both sets of gates, we would need around 6 remotes costing over $300… and will have to carry 2 remotes around if we want to enter/leave from different gates.

We need to be able to come in and out whenever we need, from whichever gate (our house is on the corner where all things meet).

Maximum distance from my house to the furthest gate is 380 meters. If I raise an antenna 2 meters on my roof, I have a clear line of sight.
The Remotes use a fixed code on 433mhz.

Sonoff RF Bridge has a very limited range.
I found the HC-12 RF transceiver but no idea how to hook it up to anything.

Any advice welcome!

Thanks for that link,
I had come across it before, but the range there is 150 feet, i.e. 45 meters - so around 11% of what I need.

The Sonoff Bridge runs on 5v, and I think that some additional range can be gained by powering the transmitter with 12v - but then that gets far fat too complicated.

Are you sure you able to control the gate with a sonoff rf bridge or another DIY board?

If its a fixed code 433mhz remote, why not just buy some cloning ones off Ali and program them all onto one?

I have both of those, they work flawlessly with my old remotes.

why not just build a repeater (or two) and place it/them along the way? of course i’m assuming you don’t mind building, and i’m not sure if you can buy them off the shelf.

Repeater? What kind can do Rf to Rf?
