Need an easy to use app for iphone for subset of sensors/switches

Hello everyone,

Would you mind advice an app for iPhone which can be used for a subset of devices available at HA?

I have several smart wall plugs, and temp and water leak sensors. What I want to have an app for family members so they can download it on their phones and when pairing/integrating that app with HA, HA will expose only the prefined set of devices and their functions.

As an example, there are 6 wall socket plugs across two rooms which do energy monitoring as well.
I want to ‘expose’ just two of these plugs - one in each room - to the app so people can for example turn on/off deck/porch lights.

How can I do this with minimum hassle from the user side?

You can define which dashboard pages that are visible to specific users.
Only issue is that the default one is the one everyone starts on, so that have to be a page everyone shares.

Do I have to use HA’s mobile app? Is there any alternatives?

You need to use the homepage or the mobile app, since the user needs to login for HA to know who he/she is and thereby know which pages to show.
