Need Help with Philips Bloom + Tap Switch and HA

Hi,

I’ve recently joined the Home Assistant user community and I have to say that I’m quite happy so far with it. Being new to HA I decided to go with the Home Assistant Green and the EZConnect for my Zigbee so that I can move out of my philips hue bridge (finally!).

So far I’ve been able to port all of my bulbs, however I am struggling with getting both my older Philips Hue Bloom lamp to be found by the Zigbee network as well as my Hue Tap Switch.

I’ve followed the same procedure of removing them from my philips hue app and then searching in HA but they aren’t found. Being a Newbie I’m almost certain that I’m missing something here… Would appreciate all the help!

Thanks.

Have you tried one of the other methods listed here to reset it? Philips 929002375901 control via MQTT | Zigbee2MQTT

I did try the method of deleting the bulb and the switch from the Hue App that was my first approach. I will try with the dimmer switch (the newer version) and see if atleast that works with the bulb. thanks!

Tried to also use the dimmer switch and it did reset the lamp but my EZ Connect isn’t able to find the Hue Bloom.

Did you try moving the lamp close to the coordinator?

Yes. Right next to it without success. I am using the ZHA integration and not the MQTT. Could that be related to it?

No, it should not have any relation. Are you sure the lamp is being reset correctly? You could try resetting and see if you can pair it to the Hue hub just to exclude that the reset for some reason does not stick.

Ya, i’ve checked and the Hue Bridge does see the lamp but ZHA doesn’t. indeed it’s strange.
