I’m migrating from a RPi3 to a miniPC x86/64. I have my backups on a USB SSD and it’s plugged into one of the USB ports on the miniPC. I also have a Sonoff Zigbee dongle plugged in. It boots up fine and I’m sitting at the HAOS CLI. I want to restore my configuration from RPi3 to miniPC. The restore command requires a ‘slug’. Where do I find the value for the this? I’m assuming that if the restore is successful, I’ll get my old configuration running on the new miniPC. Anything else I need to be aware of?
I’ve done more searching and figured out what and where to find the slug. I now understand my problem is a lot more complicated - I’m not a Unix computer programmer for starters. I think I can’t simply plug in my usb drive containing my backup files. I somehow have to tell haos the drive is plugged in and then run some configuration stuff. I may be in over my head. I’m about ready to abandon the backups and start setting it up from scratch. Much more complicated than I anticipated. Oh well.

Problem Solved
I gave up trying to add the USB drive. I setup Samba Share on the RPi3 and my backups appeared there. Copied the backup files (slug.tar) to a folder on my desktop computer. Turned off and removed RPi3. Started the MiniPC HAOS, setup Samba Share, copied the .tar backup files to Samba Share. Then did a restore with the most current backup. Restore worked, shut it all down and powered back up and now the MimiPC has my RPi setup. As usual, it’s easy when you know what to do. Hopefully the MiniPC will last as long or longer the the RPi3 (3 years 24X7).
