What do I need to do, for “map:” to reconize my latitude: !secret ha_lati
longitude: !secret ha_long[ settings, in 0.58.1???
that’s all you need
map:
in the config provided your lat/long are properly setup in the top section of HA
That is what I have, and it worked fine, before 0.57. Now, after 0.57, at first I though it was not working at all. Because, the map showed only WHITE. Then, I zoomed out, only to find, the map was zoomed in on Antarctica’s North shoreline. In the “configuration.yaml” files, it should point to Massachusetts.
I have also rebooted, my RasPi3, after the update to 0.58.1
I also double checked the configuration files
Does anyone else, have an idea why my
longitude: 42.xxxxx
latitude: -71.xxxxx
in the “homeassistant:” section, is NOT getting transfer’d to the “map:” component.
BUMPing again
Keith, I this that’s what he WANTS it to show, but for some reason it’s not. (and I’m not following you around - honest !)
dCon, you will have to give us copies of your config file AND your zones file (if you are using split config files).

Yep but if you notice the lat long?
Your lat long values are reversed… also don’t know if it matters but my config has latitude first then long. And 6 characters after the decimal
Doh !
You read what you expect to see, not what’s there … either that or I need new glasses !

Dam!!! how did I miss that??? I never checked coordinates, of where the Map centered on, in Antarctica. That is all that it was, reversed numbers
OK,where is the hat???
