About 2 years ago I made my first move towards smart switches. I was using tuya WiFi switches and they did the job at the time. Now I am using home assistant I would like to move to zigbee switches.
I just ordered a few Aqara E1 no neutral switches but am not very happy with them. On opening the box I actually quite liked the soft button action. However after wiring one up I noticed that sometimes the button press doesn’t register and requires a firm press. The relay also makes quite a loud clicking sound on every press. My previous tuya switches were silent so now I find this quite annoying.
I have been trying to find an alternative and came across the moes switches on Amazon. The issue with these is that all gangs require a load connection. They can’t be used as a remote button to control another device. If this is wrong please correct me.
The only other option I can see is Yagusmart tuya switches. These look similar to the WiFi switches I have. The only thing putting me off is that after 18 months I noticed that the button on one of the switches seems a little bit loose so would rather go for a known brand.
Can anyone recommend a no neutral zigbee switch that can also be used to control other devices without a load connected, and preferably have a quiet relay. I would prefer physical switches rather than relay modules to go behind the switch as I have a few 2/3 gang switches and this would be difficult.
I have looked at the Aqara H1 but apparently these also have the loud relay. Again, please correct if I am wrong.
Thanks
