So there are at least three projects for WebRTC camera support and I’m hoping someone can summarize the differences along with pros and cons of each ?
One is a HAC’s integration by @AlexxIT ( WebRTC ). Then there are two add-on’s that were bundled up by @allenporter. I understand that he is creating add-on’s for of both RTSPtoWeb and RTSPtoWebRTC. I also understand that RTSPtoWeb is the better one to use, but what I don’t understand is why, and if so why bundle the other one at all ? The fact that both are in the add-on makes me think there are advantages of one of the other. I also am not sure how either of theses work w/ @AlexxIT 's project… Do I need both install ?
My environment is 14 cameras of Unifi Protect, which are all piped into Frigate which handles object detection w/ a Coral TPU. I would like the cameras to load quickly inside and outside my network . I am fine w/ it switching to LLHLS or something similar when I’m outside my network.
