Greetings,
I’ve accumulated a collection of various devices over the past few years and looking for ways to ‘integrate’ all of them. Today I run multiple ‘fat’ apps on my iPhone/iPad, and looking for something leaner, and also with some automation. Here is what I have, that I’d like to integrate into a single system:
Devices with WIFI Connecivitiy
- Feit - Smart dimmer-switches
- TP - Link multiple smart plugs
- Nest - Smart thermostats and fire/smoke
- Cameras - Wyze (Interior), NightOwl (Outside, on DVR), Ring (door bell)
- MyQ - Garage openers
- Smart bulbs - Feit and Wyze
- Sprinkler system - Orbit b-Hyve
- ADT - Old Security System, but can still reuse the multiple door/window switches and motion sensors in various rooms.
- Sense - Energy monitoring
- Flume 2 - Water monitoring
- Appliances (e.g. iRobot vacuum and Whirlpool Oven)
- Media/entertainment system, netwro drive, … (no plan to include yet)
- Amazon/Google smart speakers (multiple)
Devices with BT Connectivitiy
14. AirThings Radon Detector
15. Plant monitors (reminds me to water them)
Planned Future
16. Smart Blinds
My basic question is: Which of the above devices are usable with Home-Assistant? … and which are not?
I reckon it’s a bit of a learning curve, and I’d like, if at all possible, to understand what’s up ahead, and how much of what I have can be integrated.
Thank You
