Nest Cam integration exposing to Homekit

Hi

I’m currently trying to move my hoobs setup to home assistant (one less vm running). I have my nest integration working (has been for some time) but now I’ve come to setup HomeKit and it just won’t expose my nest cams.

The nest cams work fine in home assistant and I’ve tried to configure by exposing the camera domain and individual entity but no joy.

Does anyone have any ideas. All my other devices are seen by HomeKit no problem.

Having this same issue as well. Nest integration works, shows thermostats in both HomeKit and the HA Dashboard, but the nest cams are only showing in HA not within HomeKit. Hopefully someone else has come across this and has a fix.

To connect a camera or lock, you need to set them up as accessories (HomeKit Bridge - Home Assistant).

I tried this but the camera is showing no image.

I found another thread saying that H.265 streaming was the issue. Granted this was for different cameras, but it said that HomeKit doesn’t support H.265. Only H.264

Not sure if there’s a way to change it for google devices.
