I have three nest cameras and using the Nest Integration page I was able to get them in Home Assistant. I can see interact with the streams just fine. The problem comes in with notification automations for motion or people.
Now I receive the notifications just fine through Google Home but obviously I want everything in HA.
When checking the logs for each of these cameras there is nothing…not a thing, even with motion notifications coming through on the GH app. I’ve checked the GH notifications so I don’t believe there is a problem there. Again the cameras stream just fine but I cannot utilize them for any automations because HA doesn’t appear to receive anything from Nest/GH.
