Nest Integration / Nest Aware Subscription - Person Detected

Have just started along the HomeAssistant journey, and really loving it so far!

Question around the Nest integration - I have an outdoor camera, but do not subscribe to the nest aware paid service, so it doesnt currently have person detection natively in the nest app.
Is there a way to add this functionality via HA?
The nest integration is working, and I am capturing motion/sound events - but not person detection.

I would assume if I had the nest aware subscription, the server side would be forwarding event details to HA for ‘person detection’ ?

The Person Detected trigger feature seems to play nice.

When I select a camera from the Nest integration with a Nest Aware subscription, then I select Automation, I have three available options (a) Person Detected, (b) Sound Detected, and (c) Motion Detected.

I use the Person Detected feature to trigger a Home Assistant (2023.4.6) automation to turn on a Z-Wave light (if after sunset and before sunrise), announce “someone’s here” to a Google Nest Hub, and stream the camera on a TV connected to Google Chromecast (that automatically powers on).

Person Detection is a much more reliable alert for this automation than Motion Detection. Motion Detection seems to go off constantly, but Person Detection works as I expect it to.
