Netatmo integration does not show private weather data

Hi all,
I have a problem with the Netatmo integration as follows:

  • I own a Netatmo smart weather station (1main weather station indoor and 1 outdoor module) with 1 additional indoor module
  • The station is connected to my Netatmo cloud account

In HA, the official integration for Netatmo is configured properly. The issue however is, that I am only able to access data from the public weather stations. I am not able to find any of the sensor data from my own weather stations:

So far I cannot find any configuration options other than to add public weather stations.

What am I missing?

Let me put the question other side around:
does the display of private weather data (indoor, outdoor) work for anyone or will the integration only show public data?

Display of private data works fine here. You have to make an API key in your Netatmo account as documented here.

I created those and added them under “Application Credentials”.
Did I understand it right, that I only need the webhook configuration (and open 443 port) only in the case, when I want to speed up the data updates from netatmo - or do I need to have this setup in any case?
(I don’t want to open home assistant for external communication - only via vpn)
