I tried to connect to Netatmo for my Outdoors camera (Netatmo Presence) however they don’t seem to be listed at all.
When I got into integration, Netatmo, the option seems to only be there for the weather stations.
Can we not connect with the Netatmo Presence so?
Also, I tried to add HomeKit to add the camera, but I must misunderstand the HomeKit integration as none of my HomeKit devices are showing in Home assistant
My Netatmo Presence cameras were auto-discovered by Home Assistant; so it will work. I have them display on a page.
I have not been successful in reading any of the states such as ‘person’ or ‘animal’ but I also have not tried in a few months.
You have to use configuration.yaml to get the cameras into HA. You probably choose the cloud link.
I moved home assistant to the same VLAN of the Netatmo’s but nothing, I also enabled UPNP incase but still not.
I’d love to have the video though but yes, reading states such “person” detected would be very very very handy, especially for security rules
I setup Netatmo from the integrations page, it’s send me to Netatmo API, the camera was mentioned but back in the settings it’s only seems to display the weather station.
I should probably lookup for a way to configure using Yaml alright, I’m new with home assistant so will try to search for this today
I finally managed, the configuration file is the way to go !
you need to create a app with Netatmo (I had one created before already)
then add this to the configuration file
Example configuration.yaml entry
