Hey Guys,
i hope someone can help. Two days ago somewhat happens in my network what i cant really trace back. I think it begans with an interrupt of my !Fritz Power Lan a few days ago. Since then, something is fully good to go anymore. The most terrible problem is that home assistant (and potentially other components) has problems which the resolution of some dns names.
The highly infects the ~10+ Shellys i have around in my house as switches and cover controls.
My Setup:
- My “HomeLab” Server which runs Home Assistant as a docker version 2021.1.4
- 10+ Shellies on (1.9.4)
- 10+ Tasmota flashed devices (mostly plugs)
- Some D1 minis with esphome
- Some D1 minis with wled
- Some Raspberry Pis as (octoprint instance, deconz zigbee handler, pilight runner)
- Fritzbox 7590 + 2 PowerLan Repeater + a 7490 as Mesh Repeater
HomeAssistant finds not a single Shelly anymore, not the esphome d1 minis but as far i can see everything else including the d1 mini which runs wled.
So when i try to nslookup
on of the esphome (f.e. hostname “bruno”) my FritzBox returns me two IP Addresses.
The first is wrong, the second is right. However i can open the webinterface in the browser by entering hostname.
When it comes to the shelly, only a ip will be resolved by nslookup. These are right but when i try to open the hostname which can be resolved by nslookup in the browser, i didnt get any connection but when i open the ip directly, it works… i don’t get it
The nativ shelly app works by the way.
I tried so far.
- Rebooting everything (old windows user ^^)
- delete possible dns caches
- change the range of the dhcp client of the fritzbox for a supposedly bug
I hope someone can help me, my wife is killing me, when the covers not rolling without app
