So I have a new network in the house. I jumped on home assistant and changed the network. Now I can’t connect to it. I moved the computer and connected a monitor and keyboard. That puts me in the CLI. I can nothing to do anything useful from there. It says eth0 and wlan0 don’t exist. I also tried eth1 and wlan1. Nothing. Network Info doesn’t help because it scrolls off the screen a bunch of info and I don’t know how to paginate on this custom OS. I tried to google an answer but everything that comes up is severely dated and none of the commands match the options I have now. At this point my system is dead and useless. I don’t want to reflash since I’m sure I just need to change one parameter. I think I had setup a static IP but that obviously won’t work on the new network since it has a different server. Help me Obiwan, you’re my only hope.
When you connect to the CLI the welcome screen should show the current IP address:
HA should get an IP address if your network is configured properly and DHCP is allocating addresses.
Or if you have assigned a static IP address. You can change network settings in HAOS.
