New auth/security and Philips Emulated Hue Bridge

I’m a (very) happy user of HA with Amazon Echo/Alex, via https://www.home-assistant.io/components/emulated_hue/.

I’m on HA version 0.76.2 - so just before the new username auth came in.

I would like to have some control over which users can control which device. E.g. a lock.

It looks like the Emulated Hue Bridge has no security in place, so anyone with access to an Echo could shout “open front door”, or if they have network access send a payload to the Emulated Hue Bridge.

Is there an easy way to delegate permissions to the Emulated Hue Bridge or is the best practice to hide devices that need to have security away from the Emulated Hue Bridge?

I’m guessing the later, but thought I’d check around before embarking on anything

The latter. Anything that you don’t want people to be able to do should not be exposed over emulated_hue :+1:
