I am mostly happy with it… couriers can ring me via the hikvision app, and there are some physical connections available from the unit, that I could use to trigger some cool stuff from the app during such a call. BUT actually getting any useful events from this one seems to be either not available, or the ISAPI structure has changed and I can’t find documentation for it. I can call a few things, like color settings or a reboot - but I am definitely lacking controls and notifications.

However it is easily connected to the Synology Surveillance station, which in turn provides most things I want. So yep, a mixed bag - it’s only missing software features that lets it down.

I don’t use it, and I had issues where I would have to restart it every couple weeks. That said, I think there are more options on Amazon, and they seem to be more reliable.
