I replaced my first generation Echo with a new second generation Echo and now when I ask her to turn on a light switch she turns it on then immediately off again and says “ the device is malfunctioning”. All of the switches are GE Zwave in wall switches.
I know there are some issues with the emulated hue component but with the old echo it complained but still turned the light switch on.
Is there some extra setup needed for the newer generation Echoes?
