I am currently doing a big renovation and have to redo the complete electrical installation.
I have done some trials with a raspberry pi +xiaomi sensors and home assistant and really like it.
For my future installation i want to integrate as much as possible in home assistant, however i want
to be able to remove the home assistant part and have the basic functions (controlling lights) still to work without home assistant.
I was thinking to use a PLC (wago) for the basic functions and use home assistant for the “automation”/fun parts.
What are your thoughts/experiences on this?
