Not sure what i’ve done except the updates. I didn’t see any breaking changes in cast.

I’m seeing the same errors, haven’t had time to submit a bug report on GitHub.

Looks like 2022.4.3 refreshed the naming for my cast devices to there correct names.
Making the old alias names no good. So all of the errors caused my automatons calling devices that were no longer valid.

2022.6.0
Anyone know what these are?

Is there any way to trouble shoot these errors? It just gets worse and no one knows why?

I’m updated to the latest HA.

2022.6.3

2022.6.4

2022.6.7

Is golden so far !!

:crossed_fingers:

I’m on core-2022.7.3 running Home Assistant OS 8.2 with supervisor-2022.07.0.

As of this morning, after updating to core 2022.7.3, my automation casting a lovelace card to a Nest Hub display is failing. When I reset the hub in HA and then restart the automation casting the display, it loads up fine. But then the next call of the automation results in this: I’ve tried restarting everything and deleting the cast device and re-adding it to HA and I’m getting these errors:

2022-07-11 10:00:00 WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.automation.cast_to_google_hub] Cast to Google Hub: Already running

I’ve not updated to .3 yet. I am still on 2022.7.0 and my cast devices are working good with no errors.

I really don’t want all the unreliable google displays again. I hope this is easy to fix… 2022.7.0 is the only version that has not given me some kind of errors casting… ever… no errors wow.

Try rebooting everything including your router and cast devices. This can clear up a lot. :crossed_fingers:
