Since the last update 0.63.3, I got a new hassio dashboard.
Those are with several categories (dashboard, snapshots add-on store, system), and it shows cards.
I like it. However the system menu is empty…
In other words, now it is not possible to restart hass from the frontend, check supervisor, etc…
It’s a known bug and should be fixed in the next supervisor update
So, I guess I don’t have to rollback to a previous version of hassio?
You can always restart hassio from the config menu and check/update the supervisor etc from the command line, so if you are happy with that, wait for the fix 
I’m still running .62.1 and have this same issue. The new HASIO dashboard appeared after configuring DuckDNS ?
The problem was not with the Hassio version but apparently a newer supervisor which automatically updated.
