New Home Assistant blue not coming up on Network

I just received my HA blue today. Opened it with so much of love only to NOT find the HA blue in the Network at all.

I’ve tried connecting it and disconnecting the HA blue multiple times from the router (Google Wifi). Can’t seem to find the IP in the list of devices connected to the router.

http://homeassistant.local:8123 doesn’t work. http://homeassistant:8123 doesn’t work either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It’s 4 AM and I’m still breaking my head with this. Being it a new device, I was hopeful that Home Assistant Blue would be ready to begin configuration.

Please let me know. Thank you!

Try: use Advanced IP Scanner and find the IP HA in your LAN and connect to http://IP address:8123

Unfortunately, HA didn’t appear on the list

Try plugging a HDMI cable to HA Blue and see the logs on a monitor.

Guys, I was able to figure it out.

I had connected the Home assistant to Google Wifi router (which has only one OUT Ethernet port). And I was trying to find HA on the Google Home app on phone (connected via Wifi) where it wasn’t showing up.

Fortunately I had a different Motorola modem/router combo with more than one ethernet out port. Connected HA Blue and the PC to the same LAN network via wires. And VOILA!

Completed the setup in Motorola modem/router network. Migrated to Google Wifi router and now Home Assistant Blue was there (It better be!! )

Thanks to everyone who intended to help. Hope some one stumbles across this and finds it useful.
