I can see it on my network at 10.1.1.56. If I go to http ://homeassistant.local:4357, I can’t see it. If I go to http ://10.1.1.56:4357, I can see it and it says :
Supervisor:|Connected|
|Support:|Supported|
|Health:|Healthy|
I canNOT see it at http://homeassistant.local:8123 OR http ://10.1.1.56:8123. It says “Connection Refused” on both of those.
I scanned open ports on Angry IP scanner and it shows open ports of 111, 4357, and 5355. 8123 doesn’t show up.
I have turned off local PC firewall, made that IP address “admin” level filtering in my firewall, although I think that’s meaningless, here as I’m inside the network. I’ve disabled my AV. Nothing seems to help. It seems like port 8123 is not active.
I don’t know how to get into this thing otherwise. I also see conflicting information on how to reset it to factory and I don’t want to screw that up. I have access to a USB A to USB C cable and it seems l can either push a button or change a jumper to reset/reinstall, but I’m afraid to do that without understanding which process is correct.
I have a128GB M.2 in it.
Any help or clear instructions on a reset would be appreciated.
One other note: when I first fired it up, it was networked, but it turns out the ethernet cable that came with it was a dud, so after it being up for 10 to 15 minutes, I shut it down and swapped to a new cable and booted it up. All lights in the box are blinking or static in the correct way.
This is my first foray into Home Assistant but not my first foray into home automation.
