Hi,
I’ve just followed the guide (Windows - Home Assistant) to install via VirtualBox on Windows Server 2022.
The VirtualBox is launched and installed successfully, but I cannot access the address from the Windows desktop or remotely.
It’s setup in bridge networking mode as per the guide and firewall is off on my server.
I’ve used localhost, the server IP and the advised homeassistant.local:8123.
Can anyone advise?
Many thanks
What do you see if the access the VM using the console in VirtualBox?

Hi,
Screenshots attached. I did notice an error on boot prior to the boot completion.

From your screenshot:
Your virtualbox did not get an IP address.

I see that! Thanks for flagging.
When I change to NAT it shows a local IP but I still can’t access from my server desktop or remotely.
Any idea why on bridged it’s not getting an IP?
My server has a static IP although is retrieving it via DHCP set by the network.

That is normal. Bridged should work, maybe choose another network adapter.
