Hi,
I’ve just bought a new Case with an M.2 Sata adapter board (GeeekPi Raspberry Pi 4 Aluminum NAS Case with PWM Fan and M.2 SATA SSD Adapter Board) and I made an image of the current instyallation with Win32DiskImager and then wrote it to a 128GB M.2 sata disk via USB adapter.
All went well and the write verified OK but when I put the SSD into the adapter board and power up the Pi (3A power supply) the white LED on the M.2 card lights up and flashes a couple of times but the Pi doesn’t boot as it did witht the previous M-SATA USB drive.
One thing I’ve noticed is that there are two red LEDs on the M.2 Sata drive that light up in the PC USB adapter but don’t on the M.2 Pi adapter card.
I’ve tried several poer supplies including a high output battery with a USB lead I know is good for a few amps.
Anyone else had issues with this GeeekPi Raspberry Pi 4 Aluminum NAS Case with PWM Fan and M.2 SATA SSD Adapter Board?
***** Update*****
I’ve just put the M.2 Sata SSD into the USB adapter and plugged it into the Pi4 and it boots fine so it looks like a problem with the M.2 Sata board.
Cheers
