Hello HA users. I’m looking to make the switch (finally!) from my Veraplus to HA. My skills at programming are limited but I’m always looking to learn.
How difficult will it be for a newbie to make the transition? All of my devices are Z-wave… Will HA support them?

Hi, welcome to the forum!
Many before you - me too - have started with HA without any knowledge about home automation and/or programming.
Since I started things have evolved drastically and you can achieve quite a lot just through the webUI.
The point is:
- are you willing to learn new things and how easy is that for you
- the level of your curiosity and perseverance
- your willingness to learn/read/try/make mistakes (make sure you have backups to be able to turn back to)
- asking (the right) questions, the right way will help you a lot
- don’t go to fast to soon by wanting to completely automate your place before understanding (somehow) how HA works
