New project — Site with the list of Home Assistant UI Cards

I want to show my new small project. I had some fun time creating it, really hope that it can be useful.

I really like Home Assistant. A lot of the things is available “out of the box”. You just need to install HA and you have a very powerful Home Automation system with highly customisable UI. But the great thing about Home Assistant that it is open. Any developer can create some custom UI card that can do something that stock HA can’t do.

And there are a lot of custom UI cards.

I really wanted to have a list will all the cards that I can use to check what cards are there (maybe there are some great cards that can solve some of my tasks that I don’t know about). But I was not able to find such a list. I wanted the cards to be sorted by popularity and I wanted screenshots.

So, I’ve created my own. Here is the site: https://home-assistant-cards.bessarabov.com

There is a table with the list of cards, but it is also possible to view the gallery of the cards (but for the moment there are not so many screenshots of the cards)

For now I’ve added about 140 cards to the list and I’m going to add more. But I would be supper happy if you help me create the most accurate and full list of all Home Assistant cards. Do you know the card that is missing? Create a PR, or create an Issue with the info about the card that should be added, or just write here the link to the card.

did you check hacs, has also à full list of lovelace cards?

Yes, I have checked HACS. It is a great project with lots of UI cards.

But is has very strict rules that cards should follow to be added to its catalog, so It does not all the cards.

it would be nice to filter on cards that are all ready in hacs which are not for those manual setup is required.

Thank you! Very handy! I have tried HACS but rarely ever used it (uninstalled to eliminate its overhead) so your summary of cards is much appreciated.

I also use your Material Design icon site and have found it to be a fast and efficient way to find and select an icon.

It may be a good idea to maybe post the yaml behind that card pictured. Good idea though!
