I hope I’m in the right section: Yesterday a power surge took out my old v380s, well it happens, now I need to buy at least 3, definitely not the v380s because with the latest updates they don’t have the rtsp flow open. What can I buy on the market, under 40/45 euros per camera, compatible with HA? The model not the brand, because for example the Reolinks can be implemented in HA but the E1 can’t because it doesn’t have the open port! Sonoff? Ezviz? Amcrest? IMOU? Other? PS I need them with PTZ. Thanks to anyone who can direct me!
I can recommend TAPO. There is a specific addon in HACS that helps integration ( GitHub - JurajNyiri/HomeAssistant-Tapo-Control: Control for Tapo cameras as a Home Assistant component)
I have two Tapo cams and they’re easier to set up/deal with, but I like the low light image quality of the Wyze Outdoor Cam V4 better than the Tapo C100 even though I need to run the Docker Wyze Bridge Add-On:
Ooops - just saw the PTZ comment, sorry: neither of them is PTZ
Ok, a question how long is the power cable? I ask because I noticed that it has the jack instead of the USB and I have very high ceilings and the point of the electrical outlet is about 3 meters away!
I think the Tapo C100s have a 3m power cord.
The WyzeCam V4 has a 2m USB-A to mUSB cable.
I just saw there’s a WYZE Cam Pan v3 Indoor/Outdoor with PTZ but I haven’t used one.
