New sideways curtain device_class for curtain entity

Hi community,

I’ve recently installed some switchbot curtain devices. These devices control my existing curtains by sliding them open or closed. Unfortunatly there isn’t a good device_class available for that. There are blinds & curtains but they both give me up and down arrow’s.

So my suggestion would be to add a new device_class for sideway curtains or change the icons for the current one since I assume most curtains open from left/right. I think the current symbols for doors & gates work great for that!

Added my vote for this one… I changed the entity to show the device as an awning which changed the up/down arrows to open/close as you would expect for curtains, but then it doesn’t use the curtain icons.

I agree that the up/down arrows are the wrong choice for the curtain class and should be updated, but if that’s deemed inappropriate then a new class would suffice.
