I’m looking at a new solar installation for my home. I have two proposals and one of the criteria I’d like to consider is local integration with Home Assistant.
The proposals specify either Enphase IQ8 microinverters or a Solar Edge SE7600H-US.
From reading posts here in the community it seems to me the most stable option would be Solaredge via ethernet. There appear to be reports of Enphase killing direct local access in some firmware updates and I presume new hardware would have that from the jump.
I’d love to hear any thoughts from users or either (or both?) systems, though, since I’m sure people tend to only report problems.
