With latest HA version, I tested the stream option (with automations, live viewing in UI, etc…).
It seems to work great.
But after some time, my CPU usage for my HA docker in Unraid gets stuck at 16% and never seem to go down… (even of there is no stream going on… actually, nothing is really going on…)
Logs etc… didn’t help finding what and why was going on…
After multiple tests, I confirmed if I disable the stream option in configuration.yaml, this issue doesn’t occur anymore…
Any hint on why and how I could resolve this? Does this occur for anyone else (maybe specifically with UNRAID).
Using official docker image BTW.
The stream is kept alive for 5 minutes after closing it, did you wait 5 minutes to see if CPU usage went down? Or are you saying that your CPU just stays up that high after a restart? I do not see this issue on my end but I do not have Unraid.
Not sure, I would have to test it…
oh wow, 5 minutes… that is nice to know…
This could affect the CPU a lot if stream is used on multiple cams along with multiple automations (plus live viewing in UI…).
I’ll have to do more test with this information now… Is there any way to monitor the stream process specifically, in HA?
updated to 0.90.2
Tested enabling stream (CPU usage is fine), opened a stream (CPU usage went up), closed it, waited 10m, CPU usage still stuck at around 16% (until I reboot)
Might be specific to Unraid, don’t know… Can’t really monitor what specifically is running, just see python…
