Is it possible to add a delayed on/off with the new template binary sensor helper or do those still need to be done with YAML?

The GUI version is purposefully a simplified version.
Shame. Was hoping to finally be able to fully move away from YAML and into GUI
Never going to happen.
As mentioned in the YouTube release video the template integration is very powerful and to copy all the features they would essentially have to make a yaml editor.

That is also a hard “either/or”, right? So I cannot edit existing template helpers manually somewhere else to add the additional parameters, but have to create a new one via the manual way.
No you can’t do that. One or the other for each template sensor.
Having re-read my reply above, the team did say the UI version was purposefully simplified but that’s not saying additional features won’t ever be added in future.
Make a feature request, if it is simple enough and there is a lot of demand for it, then it could happen.
