Hi!
I’ve installed the latest ha update, but the new thermostat card have messed a bit the layout of my dashboards…
I have several thermostats in a grid card, and they aren’t showing anymore the current temperature, but the set temperature. And also the font is way too big and i can’t find a way (neither with card mod) to reduce it.
Any suggestion?
Thanks!
You could try:
- Reducing the number of columns in your grid.
- The tile thermostat card.
I noticed this to.
They haven’t said anything about this in the Youtube release party ?
Very annoying !!
I tried card-mod, no luck.
entity: climate.thermostaat_badkamer
name: Thermostaatkraan Badkamer
theme: clear-dark

ha-card {
--current-temperature-font-size: 60px !important;
}
type: thermostat
I’m happy of the new layout on the full card version, but used in a small array arrangement i preferred the old layout. Would be nice that when there is an upgrade in the layout of the cards, to leave the ability to select the old layout, maybe with an option.
By now i’m searching for something similar as i have a small wall panel, when i need to have the grid as compact as possible…
This is how it looks like on the nspanel pro setup:
Not too bad, but i have the need to switch the diplayed number fron the set to the current temperature
Same issue here. Terrible design.
The circle is just way wider but the values are way smaller.
Therefore they’re not visible anymore from a distance while the old ones were perfect.
I have to agree. I much prefer to see the current temperature (with my old eyes), NOT the set temperatures. Maybe add some settings based on preference?
You might want to read the January release notes. This has already been added.
I’ve noticed it in the january release, configired as soon as i’ve installed the update, works perfectly, thanks!!
