This is still a work in progress, but I thought I would post my progress so far. I am really enjoying how easy it is to work within Home Assistant and make UI changes. I can even make new automations right from my phone!

Does your icon change if the state of your locks and or doors change?
Yes. I made a binary_sensor for each category.
It works very well.
