New (unofficial) iOS mobile app—Beta testers needed

We’re excited to introduce Domika—a fully-native iOS mobile app for Home Assistant! We’re currently looking for beta testers to get early access to our pre-release.

What’s Domika? It’s an unofficial, fully-native Home Assistant app that lets you create compact, visually appealing dashboards designed specifically for mobile. It also supports home screen widgets, lock screen buttons, control center buttons, shortcuts, and more. The app is built to be fast and efficient, minimizing data usage. While it doesn’t handle tasks like setting up new devices, creating automations, or adding integrations, Domika focuses on what you do most often: turning off lights, adjusting the AC, or closing the garage.

What else? Domika also provides critical push notifications to alert you in case of emergencies like a fire or water leak in your home.

Prerequisites:

  • Home Assistant v. 2024.9.1 or later
  • HACS installed
  • iPhone with iOS 17+

How to join Domika Beta:

  • Open Join the Domika beta - TestFlight - Apple
  • Follow the instructions to install the Apple TestFlight app and get Domika
  • If needed, visit our Help and Support page to learn more about Domika.
  • If you encounter any issues or have questions, we’d love to hear from you. And if Domika isn’t quite hitting the mark for you, we’d appreciate your feedback too. Email us at [email protected] or message bmikle (Discord) in Discord.
