I’ve tried to migrate my zwave config from a Aeotec Gen5 to Gen10 version, but the migration was not a simple backup and restore. The Gen5 didn’t support the NVM backup unfortunately. I migrated my adding the two sticks into the same network and using controller software to copy the config from one stick to the other. It seems to be working, the config is in the new stick and I can control the devices via Home Assistant.
But, the question is, the controller doesn’t have ID 1! Is this a requirement for a good operation? If not, any suggestion on how to change the controller ID to 1?
