I use Emonscms to get my daily use, injection and consumption measurements. and the integration is running, i get the values on my energie-tab.
In Belgium you can either choose to inject your excess power, and get some refund, by using a digital P1-meter… Or you have your equipment setup with an old meter, that turns backwards, The last one being the most cost efficient for me at the moment… But that story is too much to explain here.
In april i will get my energy invoice and calculation. With the last year’s amount of sunshine hours, i will have injected 500kWh’s of energy too much, resulting in a significant loss of money.
My idea is now, to install a Zigbee switch with power meter (like NIKO), and start consuming the excess energy of each previous day, with electrical heaters. So, on tuesday, consume the energy injected on monday, and so on…
This should lower the hours my pellet-stove is running, saving some money there…
Every day between 4PM and 10PM i could consume excess energy by means of heating, except on saturdays and sundays.
On frequent bases, i want to inject the amount still to be consumed via MQTT. I want home assistant to keep track of the leftovers, up until all excess is consumed by the heaters…
How can i do all this?
Who can explain this, step by step?
