Newbie looking for advice before buying HA Green unit

Hi,
My house has the following -
TPLInk Kasa Bulbs (4off) - scheduled turn on/off
TPLink Kasa Plugs (4off) - scheduled turn on/off
Drayton Wiser Heat Hub and 9off smart room thermostat
Govee Lamp - schedule turn on/off
Shelley Wifi mains relay.- scheduled turn on/off
eWeLink Wifi mains relay - scheduled turn on/off
Samsung SmartThings enabled Fridge/Freezer - alerts to app
Samsung SmartThings enabled tumble dryer - alerts to app
Cosori Air Fryer - alerts to app
Levoit Air Purifier - alerts to app
Ring doorbell
Various Alexa echo speakers

Currently all these devices are managed by a multitude of different apps.

If i were to buy the Home Assistant Green would i be able to bring all the devices under its control?

Would everything be controlled via the home assistant app? I could then ditch the device apps?

If everything is managed by HA, how are individual device firmware upgrades managed? Would i still need to use thier apps or is it managed by HA?

Would i need the Zigbee dongle? I think i would for the Wiser Heat system?

Would i still be able to use Alexa for voice control, though of late for us, its been hit and miss with the TPLink devices and this is how my wife likes to control the lights.

Thanks.

I would start by looking at the HA integrations list and see what of those things have integrations.

And you should do a search here for each of those devices. That will tell you more.

Whether you still need the individual apps for firmware updates depends on how HA is communicating with the device. If it’s a Zigbee device, then you will probably be able to do firmware updates via HA. But if the integration talks to the device via a cloud service or some other way, you’ll probably still need the app.

You’ll need a Zigbee dongle if you have something that uses Zigbee. You might also need a Zwave dongle if any of your devices use that protocol.

Alexa is a maybe. There are ways to get Alexa to talk to Home Assistant, but I’ve never tried them. Again, more searches here would tell you more.

Unless you want to run your own LLMs or want to do object/person detection on camera streams, the HA Green can do everything you want.
