Newbie needing advice

I’m completely new to Home Assistant but keen to look into it. I’ve 90-100 devices, on Smartthings / LightwaveRF / Blink / Ring / Yeelight.
I’m thinking it’s time to look at HA and a dashboard, although I’ve been warned off by so many others.

I’ve a Fire 8HD tablet sideloaded with Nova Launcher and Google and was looking for an easy step by step guide to installing Home Assistant OS onto it, but nowhere could I find one!
My main question:

Is it possible and can anyone point me to a logical step-by-step process?

(Alternatively can an Android phone run it?)

Many thanks.

Juls.

You need a linux version of some kind to run HA.
Those devices run android instead.

Maybe there is a way to get it installed on Android, but I can not say for sure, nor if its a safe guide.

Save yourself a lot of hassle and purchase a pi4.

In that case, you should familiarize yourself with the Installation documentation.

It explains the different types of official Home Assistant installation methods (Android isn’t one of them)
