Newly added zigbee2mqtt device disappears

I can successfully scan for new zigbee2mqtt devices. They appear in the web ui, I can successfully rename them, and use the the device but after a while the new added device disappears again from the web UI. If I fiddle with the join button (the one with the dropdown next to it) and having the (Tuya) device in pairing mode again I am able make it appear again in the web-UI, it even remembered the name i gave it.

But after a while it disappears again.

Do I have to somehow mark the device that it is a permanent part of my configuration? (this might be a very simple issue I am not aware of)

Battery powered device ? How far from the nearest router ?

The Tuya mini smart switch is powered from mains, and while experimenting located 2 meters from the router

With neutral, no neutral ?

With neutral

Should not fall of the network. Sorry, no idea.

There’s a known issue with the TS011F_plug_3 which is explained in the device page in Z2M Tuya TS011F_plug_3 control via MQTT | Zigbee2MQTT

Actually the device i try to permanently add it is a Tuya TS0001_switch_module
( there are no problems with the TS011F_plug_3 devices which are listed in thge screenschot )

I have several, they don’t drop off the network

It really would have helped if you had mentioned this in your previous posts.

What you’re seeing seems to be similar to this issue, but you’d have to have a coordinator with firmware that is older than 2022 to experience this.

I’m using Coordinator revision 6.10.3.0 build 297 with Sonoff dongle, it do not know yet how old this is

Again, you don’t mention what specific model of Sonoff dongle you’re using. Sonoff make quite a few zigbee coordinators, so you need to help us help you.

Anyway, you should be able to get the info by searching for your coordinator in HA > Settings > Devices & Services list.
Your coordinator device page should have this listed in the Device Info section, next to the Hardware field:

So still using ezsp ? Update your dongle on Sonoff Dongle Flasher - SONOFF Dongle to at least 7.x, and switch to the ember driver.

So do as I said one post ago.

Hmm, you might have to check the zigbee logs after a restart to see the firmware version in your case. See Flashing the firmware on the CC2538 MODULE | Zigbee2MQTT.

However, @francisp is right - you must be running an old version of both the firmware and Z2MQTT if you’re still on EZSP.

He is clearly using a Sonoff Dongle E based on the firmware version. (or similar, he did not tell)

Yeah, and according to this, that firmware is from 2021

I’m trying to flash new firmware on my sonoff Dongle E.
I’m not sure which type and which version

Zigbee 8.0.2
