I suspect the American Standard app has not be made publicly available yet, and that existing customers might be the first to soon be receiving direct links or invites to the private app.
In the meantime, in my searching I did find this FAQ:
Anyone on the new app yet? It’s been “a few weeks”.
I was just notified of the new app. I ran through the given procedure to transition over from the Nexia App to the new AS app. The process was easy. The app looks like it was simply rebranded as all of the functionality is the same. I wouldn’t be surprised if it isn’t using the same API.
I know my credentials are right. When I try to login on mynexia.com it ends up asking me to move to asairhome.com where I need to relogin. Guessing they are fazing out mynexia.com
Same here. The Nexia integration no longer allows me to connect to it. I can log into the American Standard website and control the thermostat from there just like I used to in the Nexia site. However, I cannot control by Trane XL824 in HA any longer. Anyone have a solution?
XL950. Configured in UI not in yaml. It’s been fine up until recently. Not exactly sure when it stopped working but had to have been in the last week. I setup an automation based on some info from it not 2 weeks ago. Noticed it didn’t work the other morning but just dug into it today.
I went as far as changing the URL it tries to connect to in the nexia python library from mynexia.com to asairhome.com. Still getting the same login failure.
I am not sure how helpful this information might be, but I have a Trane branded XL1050 and everything is working as before for me. I can still control the thermostat from Home Assistant and I can still login to the Nexia site (https://www.mynexia.com).
EDIT
It looks like there is already a PR to fix the issue which will add a “brand” setting to switch between the different endpoint URLs.
ORIGINAL
Add me to the list of people with an American Standard unit (XL 1050) where the Nexia integration has stopped working. Yesterday I received the “last chance” email (below) from Nexia that I needed to migrate my account to the new portal. I logged into the Nexia site and it kicked me over to the American Standard site and required me to log in again. After having done that, the Nexia integration no longer works.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help (logs, debugging, whatnot)!

Nexia email:
LAST CHANCE: You must download the new American Standard Home app today! Nexia will be replaced by American Standard Home over the next few weeks, and you will no longer be able to use the Nexia app. Keep your home comfortable by downloading the American Standard Home mobile app and transferring your Nexia settings today!
I also lost access with the switchover to ASHome. With the new changes being released today I went to setup the integration again but still get invalid authentication. Tried both Nexia and American Standard. Anybody have a similar issue, or any troubleshooting tips?
My integration still did not work after upgrading to 2021.6 and removing/adding the integration. My account was working with both the ASAir website and Android app. I ended up needing to cancel my ASAir account and create a new one. There are others having problems after their accounts migrated from Nexia.
So I cancelled my asairhome account. I set up a new one and go to add the thermostat and it says that it’s connected to a different Nexia house. Ugh, I just want to rip this thing off the wall. But I was able to add the integration back into HA, so I guess that’s progress???
UPDATE: went back to my old account, clicked Climate, clicked Menu, clicked Remove. This allowed me to remove the device from my old account and add it to my new account. Not sure why canceling the acct doesn’t automatically disconnect the device from the acct.
No, I closed the acct. It punts you out to the login screen saying your account has been canceled and I received and email saying my acct was cancel. Funny thing is since I still had an active thermostat I used my old login and it let me in. So it really doesn’t cancel your acct. Looks like they have some workflow type of issues they need to resolve.
I’m looking into this - my new build will have a Trane/Nexia setup as well. Given all the ups and downs in this thread is there any reason I shouldn’t just spend $100 on a Zwave thermostat and swap it out for the Trane? (I even have a couple of CT100s sitting around doing nothing that look like they should work from my research).
I’m asking out of an excess of ignorance - my previous house had low voltage baseboard heat and no common so was just 2 connections for the thermostat, in the new place I have a variable speed air handler, and I am guessing a 2 stage heat pump (they haven’t installed it yet), so a lot more complex than I have dealt with before.
Are there any gotchas to this approach I should be aware of?
I think the variable speed air handler is going go be what locks you into using Trane’s thermostat. It has been a while since I looked at what is available on the market for thermostats but I just did a quick search and it appears even Nest and Ecobee still do not support variable speed fans. If you are going to have other equipment, such as a whole house humidifier or an electrostatic air cleaner, then these may need proprietary communication with the thermostat depending on the model.
