tl;dr - it usually takes me 2 or 3 tries to get an NFC tag to register on my phone (iPhone 15). Is that pretty typical? Or do I maybe have poor quality tags?
I bought 50 or so NFC tags on amazon and all 8 or so that I tried to use give me difficulty when reading them in my phone. Every now and again, they work on the first try. Most of the time, I have to swipe my phone several times to get them to read. This happened for both my old iPhone 12 as well as my current iPhone 15. It makes for a frustrating experience. Is this what others have experienced?
I thought maybe it was the phone case but it didn’t seem to make a difference.
I’m hoping it’s just due to a cheap batch of tags. Does anyone have a recommendation of a brand that works well?
